V-Dog is a great vegan dog food kibble but if you can’t buy vdog and want to make it at home…here’s my easy recipe.
-10 cups of water
-2 medium sweet potatoes
-12oz can of pumpkin
-2 cups uncooked rice
-3 cups uncooked lentils
-1 head cauliflower
-10 tbsp veggie oil
-10 tbsp ground flax seeds
Cook the rice and lentils together in a pot with 10 cups of water. Half way (20 minutes) through the rice and lentils cooking add the potatoes and veggies chopped. Simmer for 45 mins-1 hour until thick, soft and mushy. Add water if needed for everything to cook.. Turn off heat, begin to cool, and stir in the oil and seeds and I add daily green boost powder which is a greens powder. That’s it! This makes 4,000 calories of food which lasts maggie 1 week.
